如果哪天，有客户过来而你老板有事忙不过来，这时他要你sit down with him，你可千万不要，只是陪着客户坐，什么都不干啊！那你就坐等被辞退吧。

在工作中，sit down with someone，可不是说“要你和某人坐在一起”的意思，而是说，你要和他一起讨论。

Clear something with someone
你可能以为这是“与某人一起清理东西”，可其实是，“某事获得某人的批准”。
clear 除了“清理、收拾”之外，还有很多的意思。当与with连用时，是指“获得批准、认可”。
