英语中的一些成语怎么说？

  在英语写作中,老师会建议我们偶尔引用一些经典词句来起到画龙点睛的作用。今天,我们就跟大家一起学习英语成语。

☆ hold one’s peace

我们知道peace是“和平，平静”的意思。这个成语和“peace”有什么关系吗？
A: I know some secrets about the affair.
B: You’d better hold your peace, or you’ll ask for trouble.
注释： affair 事情，事件
