英语语法 | 什么是强调句？！

一、表示强调的常用方式

 

英语中表示强调的方式很多，如口语可用重读来表示强调，书面语中表示强调则较多，如一个比较简单的办法就是在谓语动词前加do。

 

如：

 

Do try this fish. 

请尝尝这鱼。

 

He did like the girl.

他的确喜欢这女孩。

 

I do hope you'll stay for lunch. 

我的确希望你留下吃午饭。

 

二、强调句的基本结构形式

 

强调句的基本结构形式为“It+be+被强调成分+that (who)…”，其中的被强调部分可以是名词或代词，也可是短语或从句。

 

如：

 

It was her English that the girl loves. 

这女孩爱的是她的英语老师。

 

It was after the failure of this attempt that he resorted to force. 

是这次尝试失败之后他才诉诸武力的。

 

It was how the young man had learned five foreign languages that attracted the audience’s interest.

引起观众们兴趣的是这个年轻人怎样学会了五种外语。

 

It was only when I reread his poems recently that I began to appreciate their beauty. 

直到当我最近重读他的诗歌的时候，我才开始欣赏这些诗的美。
